Just another day
When the strands of my live unravel
When the fabric tears apart
No matter the amount of layering
That tries to camouflage
The actual holes I wear
Bright colours to distract the wandering eye
Texture to subdue the groping interference
Silk to soothe the questioning gaze.
Just another day
Clutching at the strands
Trying to keep it whole…
